Pretty short game unfortunately

AS a native of New Orleans don't get me started on the stupidity of a Basment in a Bayou.

the whole pushing the car under the ramp had me stumped for awhile.

They had to get it out before Christmas of '87 because the artwork was rushed. (no pun intended)

I didn't know about this game, but it seems like it was ahead of it's time in the way that your choices in the game affect the ending. And that''s interesting that they randomize whether one of the characters is a replicant or not. Good stuff!

Ziggy's voice seems to be a based at least partly on Peter Lorre from the Maltese Falcon (with a dash of the Bronx for some reason).

The creepiness of this game infused deep within my brain when younger, and remains to this day. The dark being has been quite the influence!

They should really make a sequel, but maybe Ben and Maureen's kid? Years later, kid returns and Corley motors is in ruins, parents are missing, and Rips kid has a grudge

One random thing I love about this remaster is the widescreen game artwork. When Double Fine remastered _Day of the Tentacle_ they just needed to remove the verb and inventory bar to make is widescreen. For _Full Throttle_ , they had to expand the side art for pretty much every scene, so we get to see more of the game environments.

The music gave me terrors as a kid while I tried to lay down to sleep. All throughout the late 90s, it was either this or the BBC ("Are You Being Served", "Keeping Up Appearances", "Chef" and "Red Dwarf") via KERA that I'd hear my parents enjoying on those still weekend nights.

That's why you always put Paul Bunyan on your starting team. So he can rip that thing to the ground.

This is my first police quest game I have ever played. I was very young and impressionable while playing it. I thought it was the greatest game ever. I thought the graphics were the most amazing graphics ever. how dare you attack my childhood!!

I played this back when it came out. I was in grade 10, maybe. This game was never popular but it was really original for its time and point-n-clicks were done a bunch by this point. "Get me a hard copy of that."

Wow, Whisper has attained the peaks of self-actualization. And I would definitely pick Whisper if I could do it myself. Forget Vee and Neese.

I always saw this game at a laser tag place in town when I was a kid. I was always freaked out by the attraction screen/opening cutscene (probably since i didn't like clowns and the jester head seemed scary). Never played it since I also didn't like horror/shooter games. Watching it now, yeah kid me probably would've been terrified of this Even adult me is like 'should i be watching this so late at night....?'

I played this when I was only 8 years old. I thought it was funny to stick the needle in the patient's eye and make them scream really loud. Then I would end up in the morgue and find myself being told off by a doctor who is also eating a slice of pizza.

So does the pic of you next to the moonbus never come into play? You'd think if it was uploaded it'd be pretty damning.

i love how when you shot Zubin, he says, " I got all I can from that", whereas someone like Laura Bow would have poked and prodded every orifice of his body🤣.

Pretty unique game with amazing visuals. Doesnt look bad even today. It brought me to see the movie again. I see lot of similarities and references. Is there ending where Maggie survives?

I don't know, I actually prefer this ending over the rep sympathetic one. Never liked the idea of the hunter being a secret replicant. It always seemed kinda dumb.

I think that, for the most part, cops only try to shoot McCoy while he's being framed if he stays on the same screen too long. Also, you can reclaim your evidence of Guzza's corruption and take it to the police station to clear your name.

It was fun and worth the 2 hours! Obviously if you've beaten the og game a dozen times it's going to take less time.
